'Damascus Time' heads to Japan

Iranian feature 'Damascus Time' has been set to go on the silver screen at the domestic cinema theaters in the Japanese capital city of Tokyo. 

Award-winning movie 'Damascus Time' directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia is heading to Tokyo, Japan for a one week screening beginning on Saturday, December 1st as part of its International screenings.

Additionally, the film has released a brand new poster for its screening in Tokyo.

'Damascus Time' is a war drama about a father and son pilot duo delivering humanitarian relief to people in a warzone when their plane is captured by ISIS terrorists.

Familiar faces Hadi Hejazifar and Babak Hamidiyan, along with numerous Iraqi and Syrian actors star in this film.

This highly acclaimed movie has won numerous awards including the Crystal Simorgh for Best Director at the 36th Fajr Film Festival.

Hatamikia's film has been screened in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon so far and its screening rights have been purchased by a few countries including South Korea.
